This complete hire kit includes five Audio-Technica PRO49QL cardioid condenser gooseneck microphones and five Audio-Technica AT8688S anti-shock microphone bases with illuminated mute switches, providing a clean, reliable and easy-to-deploy setup for panel discussions and presentations.

The PRO49QL is a long gooseneck cardioid condenser microphone designed specifically for clear and natural speech reproduction. With a 70Hz–16kHz frequency response and a focused cardioid polar pattern, it delivers excellent vocal intelligibility while reducing unwanted background noise and feedback. Two flexible gooseneck sections with a rigid centre section allow for precise microphone positioning, and each microphone is supplied with an AT8146 foam windscreen to minimise wind noise and plosives.

Each microphone is paired with an Audio-Technica AT8688S anti-shock desk stand, which effectively isolates the microphone from impact vibration and mechanical noise transmitted through lecterns, conference tables and other surfaces. The integrated phantom-powered illuminated mute switch provides 64dB of attenuation when muted, while the LED indicator clearly shows when the microphone is live, making it ideal for managed conference and meeting environments.

Using standard 3-pin XLR connectivity and requiring 24–52V phantom power, this kit integrates seamlessly with professional mixing consoles and audio systems.
